I just have way too much to post so I will just share out photos to sum up our awesome summer. Enjoy!
We started off with a trip to Connecticut to spend a few days with my sister and her family.
We decided to spend the day at the beach. The kids had never been to the ocean. It was what you would picture for a beach. Hot, perfect sand, great waves, and not too many people. It was so nice & yes, we came home with tons of seashells!
All the kids (Boston is behind us, he didn't want to be in the picture) and me and my sis leaving the beach.
After the beach we went to GG Nancy's to enjoy some fun in her pool. It was great. The kids we not too happy to have to leave.
BOSTON: When we left my sister's we met Cody's family in Boston to visit for a week. What a week! We took in everything we could... especially a Red Sox game!!
We are in the middle of the picture taking in the Green Monster view. I plan on winning the lottery one day so we could sit here.
Boston's favorite player (Youkilis) is #20. So he is obsessed with everything 20. He had to sit in the seat.
After the tour we got some lunch in the Bleacher Bar which is in center field under the bleacher. Awesome place!
Grandpa Rich made Boston a sign for Youkilis. We were able to get up close before the game to show him. We've got a picture but will have to share it later. Boston got a wave from his favorite player.
We also went to the Aquarium. This little blow fish kept coming back to see Boston and Logan. They loved it.
Waiting for our train to take us into the city. This is what we did everyday. I think I prefer driving my car to get where I want to go.
We made a stop to the Boston Temple. We did get a great family photo, but again I will have to share it later.
We got home from our trip on a Saturday and that next Thursday my mom and step-dad came out to visit for a week.
We spent a day at Boondocks in Kaysville. If you haven't been there I highly recommend it. It rocks!
That's our summer in a nut shell. Lots of craziness but lots of fun. We sure enjoyed it but are looking forward to getting back into routine.
