Best Buddies

Look at these cool little dudes. They truly love each other. Boston hates it when Logan cries and tries all he can to make him happy. Logan thinks Boston is so funny and entertaining. He watches everything Boston does and I'm sure pretty soon Logan will be keeping right up with Boston and all he does. Boston has been such a wonderful big brother. I was a little worried on how Boston would do with Logan but we have had no problems at all. Logan gets lots of attention, entertainment, hugs, and TONS of kisses from the best big brother ever!

We finally got Logan to eat cereal. We tried it when he was 4 months old and he wanted nothing to do with it. We kept trying off and on for a few weeks and he hated it. He would clench his mouth shut and shake his head. He was not letting that cereal in his mouth. So we decided to try different flavors and they have a oatmeal and bananas cereal. We tried that this last Monday and he chowed! He would attack the spoon to get it and we had to keep making more. Logan is getting so big.

Oh the Joys!!

Everything has gone a little crazy at our house. First off, shaving Logan's head helped with the cradle cap. We miss his head of hair but it was worth it. It will eventually grow back. Now that Logan has no hair it is crazy how much he looks like Boston.

Logan 4 1/2 months

Boston 5 months

The rash Logan has on his face has been driving us mad. Just couldn't get rid of it. We found out it was eczema and we got a prescription from the doctor to help it go away. I didn't work. A lot of people kept saying that maybe he's allergic to milk, so we tested that out. Since I'm nursing him I cut dairy and eggs from my diet. A couple of days later it was completely gone. Last night Logan was really cranky and hungry and wanted more milk then I could get out so we thawed some that I had frozen. This milk was frozen before I cut out dairy so as soon as I gave it to him his rash came back. Yup, allergic to dairy. Not fun. Milk is in everything and so it has made it some what difficult to find things I can eat. Worth it though. Here's some cute pictures of my little boy.
So cute. Logan fell asleep in his jumper. He loves his jumper.

Boston entertains Logan so good. Logan thinks he's so funny. He just stares at him and watches everything he does. I just love how Boston and Logan love each other. Boston's latest thing is he really wants to read. He likes to read Dr. Suess because it rhymes a lot so he memorizes what his favorite stories say. We are working on it with him so hopefully soon he'll be able to pick it up. We sure have some cute little boys.

A little buzzed

I had to do it. After Logan's many cuts on his head from him clawing at it, and trying to tackle the cradle cap that won't go away, I decided I'd better shave his hair off since he's already been pulling it out. That's right, Logan would reach up and scratch the heck out of his head and pull his hand away with a wad of hair. It didn't faze him at all till he would cut himself good. So I went from finally having a child with hair...

to having to shave it all off. I'm hoping it grows back pretty fast because it killed me to have to shave it off.
Can you tell how thin his hair is on the top now? He's either wore it off or pulled it out.

Can you see why I had to shave it off?

Oh how I miss his cute head of hair. Patience... I know it will grow again.

This is how I was able to keep his hands out of the way.

Logan with his bald little head. Let's just hope this clears up the cradle cap.

Here are a few pictures of best friends Boston and Logan. Logan just loves Boston. He thinks he is so funny and doesn't care when Boston is acting a little crazy around him.
Logan has just gotten so big. I can't believe he's 4 months old already. It just goes by so fast. He is smiling and laughing all the time. Logan is learning how to control his hands to grab whatever he is wanting which means everything gets put in his mouth. He is FINALLY sleeping in his crib and out of the cradle in our room which is so nice. I am so excited to see what new things he'll be doing next.
