Our new home

This is our new home in Tooele! We absolutely love it! We've both said that our last home in Logan never really felt like home, but this immediately did. It is fully fenced and landscaped with a sprinkling system (we highly recommend one) , 2100 sq. ft. with an unfinished basement, central air (a priority). On the main level it has everything. Laundry room, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, lots of closet space, kitchen, and livingroom. It is perfect for us. We closed off one side of the basement so Boston could not got over there and that's were we store all of our extra stuff. On the other side we made a play room for Boston with a workout area and a TV area. We are just so excited. Here are some pictures of the inside (minus the furniture and decorations... we're still working on that :-) ).

This is our front room... well half of it anyways. It was really hard to get a full picture of it. The wall that you can't see on the left is the same burnt red color as the kitchen (you'll see below). The banister bends around and then you go down the hall which we painted the same as the living room.
We just love how the kitchen turned out!

This is the view into Boston's room. This wall is the actual green paint they use to paint the Green Monster at Fenway Park. We are going to have someone come and paint the scoreboard on the wall so we will have the Green Monster in Boston's room. If you haven't already figured it out, yes we are HUGE Red Sox fans!

This is our room. We did a chocolate brown on the wall behind our bed and the other three walls are a light gray-blue color. Our room also has an awesome walk-in closet.

Well, there's our house. We didn't paint the third bedroom yet. We're saving that for when we have another baby. We just love living in Tooele and being able to spend time with our families and friends.

"Gosh"

You know how kids are like little sponges and they pick up EVERYTHING you say... well Boston's new favorite word is "Gosh". It is so funny when he says it. If he wants something or he's getting impatient he starts saying it over and over. It is so hard not to laugh. That is only one of the many things that he says, but that has to be one of the funniest right now.

Boston is definitely a funny funny boy. I had to show you all this picture of him. We have this icecream bucket that we cleaned out and he likes to walk around with it on his head and we just bought him the Diego sunglasses. Doesn't he look cool. He's also showing us his muscles. Isn't he cute! We just love him so much!!

Invading Snowbird

This last week Cody, Denise, and Boston took a small vacation to Snowbird with Carla and Paul Vagnini (Denise's mom and stepdad). We had a lot of fun. It was very warm up there even though therewere still people skiing! We did a little swimming and a few activities around the resort. Boston wasn't too sure about going swimming. We weren't sure if he thought the water was too cold (even though it was a heated pool) or that there were too many people. He just wanted to stick his feet in the hot tub with grandma. In the hotel, Boston just had to make multiple trips to the elevators. He got so excited to push the buttons and ride them up and down the floors MANY times throughout the vacation. He definitely wore us all out. Boston did have lots of fun with everyone. He introduced grandma and grandpa to Dora the Explorer and Diego. To keep our sanity we went and bought a couple of Dora and Diego DVD's so he could watch them in the other room at the hotel.

Here is a funny story!!! We got grandpa Paul to change Boston's diaper for the first time. It was really funny. Later on that night when we went to change his diaper, something was a little off. After many hours we figured out that grandpa had put Boston's diaper on backwards! The straps where in the back! It took us a while to stop laughing. Oh well, there's a first for everything right.

On father's day we enjoyed some time at Hogle Zoo. Boston had so much fun! We weren't sure if he would understand what was going on, but he would get so excited with all the different animals especially when they would come up really close to the window.

Hooray! We FINALLY get to move into our new house this Friday. We got all the painting done last week and it looks so great! We haven't taken any pictures of it yet but we will soon and post it on our blog. We are just so happy to be able to start this new chapter of our life here in Tooele.

Welcome Home!!!

Well, we have finally closed on our home! We are now official owners of a Tooele home. We got our key today and went in and started taping so that we can start painting this weekend. When we get things settled a little bit, we will post some pictures. In the mean time, we are still living at Cody's parents until we have finished painting. We will hopefully be moving in within a week or two.

Denise's mom will be visiting us this next week and so that will hinder our ability to move in sooner. We will be staying at Snowbird with them for a week. The following week we have a baptism in Logan and so we do not know exactly when we can move in. We will let you all know when we plan on moving so that we can enlist your help! :)

Boston is teething again and so that means sleepless nights for mom and dad. He seems to be doing better tonight, so hopefully the worst is past us.

Please leave us a message to us and let us know what you are all up to.
