Logan's 2!!

I can't believe Logan is 2 years old! It went by so fast. We have really enjoyed these past two years with both boys. They are best buddies and have so much fun together. We celebrated his birthday with a family BBQ at the house. Had some yummy food and let the kids run around and play.

Logan loves anything to do with sports and had a lot of fun playing basketball with grandpa Herman.

Uncle Marky kept the kids busy with some soccer.

Logan's latest thing is he loves to dress up in Boston's cape and mask. Boston got Logan his own mask and cape for his birthday so now they both run around the house being superheros.

Logan got a little help opening his presents.

Logan got a Blue's Clues backpack from Mimi and No-No that I think he could actually fit in.

Boston was so happy to give Logan his present. They are the cutest brothers.

With Logan's allergies, this year we decided to make him a rice crispie cake. I made Pumpkin Spice, Chocolate Mint, Cinnamon Bun, and Regular Rice Crispies. Logan could have all of them! They all tasted yummy!

I turned out to be such a beautiful day and we had a nice time celebrating Logan's 2nd birthday. I'm so glad everyone was able to come enjoy!

One down...

Still two areas to go, but we are moving along. We are almost ready to start moving stuff into storage downstairs and about ready to start painting on the one side. So our living room will be being started very soon! Yay! We did have a two day delay on the basement because I decided we needed new flooring upstairs, so the best husband in the world made it happen. Thank you so much Cody, Tayler, and Chad for all your hard work!!

These are some pictures of the house before we changed the flooring. They are taken right when we bought the house so Boston is about 2 1/2. Look how cute he his!

During construction.

This is the hall. It was pretty much done but they still had lots of work to do.

The finished product!
I absolutely LOVE how it turned out! Next thing is trying to sell our couches so we can buy one couch to keep in the living room and possibly a rug. I am one happy lady!

Recap

Well for the past month we have had LOTS going on. First of all, Boston started pre-school at a new school this year. He is now going to New Beginnings with his best buddy Stetson. I have loved him going to this school! He loves having homework to do each night and he has learned TONS! To name a few things: he now knows how to tie his shoes (really good), he knows both mine and Cody's cell phone numbers, & he knows our address! He is such a smart boy!!

Next,my sweet boy turned 5!! Can you believe it's been that long? Boston has brought so much joy to us all and amazes us everyday with his new discoveries. He has been the best son and big brother and we just love him so much! We had a birthday party at the house for him. Boston decided to have a Kung Fu Panda 2 party. They had fun playing Kung Fu games and had a yummy Kung Fu Panda 2 cake. The only bad thing was I threw my back out the day before so I got to spend his party in bed watching it through the window. I was really sad but I have the best husband in the world who took care of everything and made sure I could still see all the fun they were having.

Then, my cute sister and her family came out to visit for a week. It was a lot of fun and I always love getting the kids together and letting them play. We don't get to do it very often so we have so much fun when we do all get together. We had fun that week spending time together, having a fun bbq with a bounce house, and going to the zoo.

We had a crazy busy week last week with all the Homecoming festivities at the high school. We always have so much fun joining in with Cody. Boston and Logan love going to everything also because they think they are "one of the boys". All the high school kids do a great job at including Boston and Logan and making sure they have fun too.

We are moving along on the basement. We are mudding and taping now. I am SOOO looking forward to getting it all done so we can start using it and enjoying all that extra space.

Today is mine and Cody's 9th wedding anniversary! It is so true when they say how time flies when you are happy. It's crazy to think that we finally got the timing right to start dating 14 years ago, and two kids later we are celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary. I love you with all my heart Cody Ray! You are my best friend and the love of my life. Thank you for being you and being the best husband and father. ILYAAF EFE!!

With all we have going on the boys always do a good job at keeping us on our toes. They are as silly as ever and we just love them to pieces!

We use to put his binkies (which we will be getting rid of soon) on his dresser. One day I walked in his room and he had pulled his drawer out to climb up and get one. He had done this a couple times so they are now hidden somewhere else. What a stinker!
Last night I told Logan he could get down when he finished his hot dog. So this is what he did... he shoved the WHOLE thing in his mouth. I had to get a picture before we had to have him spit it out because he couldn't even chew it.
Boston has decided he is going to potty train Logan. We had such a fight with Boston getting trained I am kind of hoping this works or that Logan will just walk in and do it himself. Had to get this picture though. Boston is the BEST big brother!!
