Brush, Brush

Boston had his first dentist visit this last Monday and I do have to say he did FABULOUS! He sat and watched me for a bit and then it was his turn to get his teeth checked and cleaned. He was in the chair next to me and just did great. He let them take x-rays of his teeth, check them, and clean them. I was a little worried how he would handle it because you hear all the time how people hate going to the dentist. I actually don't mind going and I was hoping Boston would feel the same. He did great that day, but we'll see in six months when he goes back for his cleaning.

This is Boston before the appointment in the waiting room. He seems ok right? He would tell me every now and then that he was afraid. But we would talk about it and I think it helped that he got to sit next to me while it was my turn for a bit.

Chillin' in the chair. I think he thought he was pretty cool to have the glasses. They also put the TV on some cartoons for him to enjoy. The dentist really liked Boston and said he knew he was a special kid when he found out that they shared the same birthday!

Just getting some fluoride on his teeth. See, I told he was awesome! Look at him doing great!!

And he's still smiling after the appointment! I think part of it was he got a prize for being so good.

The rest of that day we enjoyed celebrating Valentine's Day. When Cody got home we gave Boston his present. Surprise!! A frog pillow pet! Boston was so excited! He has been talking about wanting one since Christmas and he has loved having it. For the first 15 minutes of having it he would stop playing and run over to me and Cody and give us hugs and say thank you. He just melts my heart! I was lucky and got a rose from each one of my boys and Cody and I got to spend some time together alone and go to dinner. It is nice when we are able to do that. Thank you Cody for everything and I love you with all my heart!!

The wonderful pillow pet. He has yet to be named.

Boston flying high on his frog! He just loved hopping around!!

While Boston and I were at the dentist Logan got to spend some time with my grandma and grandpa. They really like going over there and playing. Logan loves having my grandma push him around in my great-aunts walker. He thinks it the coolest!

Yesterday we got to spend the day with my nephew Bracken. Those boys play so good together. I think part of it is that Bracken LOVES Boston. You should see his face light up when he sees Boston. He pretty much followed Boston around all day long!

I had to get a picture of all three of them dancing to the Backyardigans. So cute!

Playing so good together. Bracken and Logan are only 10 days apart but looking at them you would think they were a couple months apart. Logan's just a little guy.

Just had to share this picture. Love this face!

I have one more week at Tangles and I will be moving into Remedies Salon. I have gotten all the things I've needed to done (product stocked and Visa machine ordered) and now just got to get it all moved over. I have checked out the salon now that everything is moved in and it is awesome! I am excited for all my clients to start going there!

Can you believe it?

I actually did another post before a month passed!! I know it's crazy, but I'm trying to stay up on this.

Our little man Boston was so lucky and got to be the Student of the Week at school. He had to fill out a poster about himself...

These are a few things he said about himself on his poster:

*His favorite color is Blue (Cody tried to convince him that it is Red)
*His favorite animal is a Frog
*His favorite food is Mac & Cheese and Chicken Nuggets (He says he likes Mac & Cheese with ketchup in it to be exact. Yup, got that from his dad.)
*His favorite place to be is the Living Planet Aquarium.
*When he grows up he wants to be a wrestling coach. (He initially said he wanted to be a monkey. I don't think he understood the question so we had to explain it to him.)
*His favorite things to do are play the computer, color, and play his Leapster2. (I asked him if he likes to play the Wii but he said no because Logan always turns the TV off while he is playing.)
*If Boston had one wish what would he wish for? A Frog Pillow Pet (Luckily he is getting one for Valentine's day. Shhhhhh, it's a secret!!)

Cody, Logan, and I visited Boston's class to take his poster in so he could show his class.

He also got to do a show-&-tell both days of school that week. For his first day he chose to take his "Youkilis" items which are his autographed picture of his FAVORITE Red Sox player Kevin Youkilis. (How many 4 year old's do you know that have a favorite athlete?)

He also took his build-a-bear dog that he named Youkilis.

On his second day of school he took his Buzz Lightyear that he got for Christmas that talks and makes lots of noise. Yup, great toy. It turned out to be a great week for Boston. They got to celebrate Valentine's Day at school that week too so he got to have a little party. Baby Buffs preschool has been so great and I just love opening his backpack to see all the fun things he has done for the day.

Wrestling season is now over! This last week we had state wrestling at UVU on Wednesday and Thursday so as soon as Boston got out of preschool we headed straight to Orem to cheer on our team. Boston and Logan did pretty good sticking it out through the tournament. They love being around their dad (when he wasn't coaching), all the wrestlers, stat-girls, and the wrestlers families. It was so nice to have some help to keep them entertained while we were there.
Logan decided he needed a nap so he crashed out under the chairs. He did sleep pretty good. He always seems to sleep well when there is a lot of loud noises.

This is one of the stat-girls Courtney that loves our boys. She was sweet to play some card games with Boston.

I hear lots of stories from my mother-in-law Diane about Cody when he was little and him having so much fun at all the wrestling tournaments when Rich coached. It is fun to experience it myself and seeing my boys play with everyone. Boston really thinks he is one of the team and likes to go out and wrestle with all the guys. Logan just walks around and gives everyone five and pounds fists. They both get lots of attention. I just love it!

On the second day of wrestling Boston wasn't too interested on going back to the tournament so I had to do some bribing. I told him I would take them to a movie and then we would go back to wrestling. He agreed to that. This was Logan's first movie and he actually did really well. It helped that we were on the only three people in the whole theatre. We went and saw Tangled. It was the second time Boston and I had seen it. LOVE IT!! I can't wait for it to come on DVD so we can add it to our collection. It is seriously a great movie for the whole family!! Logan really like to too. He did sit and watch most of it.

At the end of the movie they played some music so the boys had to stand and dance. So cute!

Some other news, sad and exciting.... Tangles Salon is closing. I was informed this last Monday that our owner Missy has decided she needs to close the salon. I am very sad to have to move salons because I loved working there. I will be there till the end of the month. Then I start at my new salon.... Remedies! I am very excited for this and am looking forward to this new experience. It has been around for a while and are moving into a new space this weekend so it is a brand new salon, very modern, & everyone stays up on their education and latest styles which is what I wanted. My co-worker Sharon and I are going over to Remedies together and will be starting this new adventure March 1st! So excited!
